Common questions
I forgot to start or finish a shift
Tap "Working since …" on the Clock tab to set the real start time. Use "Forgot to finish? Set the end time" (or long-press Finish) to end the shift when you really left. Any finished shift can be edited later in History.
Why can't I edit a shift that already synced?
The server keeps an unalterable log of the original clock-in/out. If you edit a synced shift, the change is kept on your phone and used for History, Earnings and the calendar.
The Lock Screen widget or Live Activity isn't showing
Check Settings → Shiftylog → Live Activities is on. iOS limits a Live Activity to about 8 hours; reopen the app to start a fresh one. Re-add the widget via Lock Screen → Customize.
I'm not getting reminders
Check Settings → Notifications → Shiftylog, and that Vacation mode is off in the app's Settings tab. Start reminders are skipped on days you've already started a shift.
How do I change my country, currency or language?
Settings tab → Language & region. The language fully applies after the next launch.
How do I restore or cancel Shifty Plus?
Restore from the Shifty tab's offer screen ("Restore purchases"). To cancel: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Shiftylog. Refund requests go through Apple.
How do I export my data?
History tab → share button exports all shifts as a CSV.
How do I delete my data?
On the phone: Settings → Reset application, or delete the app. On the server: see Delete your account.
